During the Chinese Spring Festival, local Chinese community in Suriname held various celebrations. Ambassador and Madame Su Ge accompanied President Venetiaan and the First Lady in attending these activities.

In the past year, the friendly cooperative relationship between China and Suriname was further strenthened. Local Chinese community enjoyed harmonious relations with other ethnic groups in Suriname. President of Suriname, Chairman of the Parliament, Ministers of the Surinamese Government and Parliamentarians joined the local Chinese community in celebrating the Spring Festival.
