On 31 May, Chinese Ambassador Yang Zigang met with Ambassador Henry MacDonald, the Surinamese Permanent Representative to the United Nations. They exchanged views on China-Suriname relations, post-2015 development agenda, protection of women’s and children’s rights, UN Security Council reform and other issues. They both expressed willingness to strengthen coordination and collaboration on these issues.
