Based on the latest optimization of Covid-19 control and prevention policy, as of today, all China-bound passengers shall take only one Covid-19 PCR test within 48 hours before their direct flights to China, and apply for green health codes with the negative PCR test results to the Chinese diplomatic missions responsible for the countries/regions where the PCR tests are taken.

A passenger who plans to transit through a third country/region is allowed to take the 48-hour PCR test either in their departure country/region or the transit country/region.

The additional requirements for travelers who have contracted Covid-19, have had close contract with Covid-19 cases, or have Covid-19 related symptoms, as stipulated in the embassy’s notice of July 2, 2022, are hereby no longer valid.
